Chuangyuan Biological's probiotic solid-state fermentation technology for the preparation of postbiotics powder has been granted a national invention patent.
On August 9, 2022, Tianjin Chuangyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. developed and applied for the patent titled "Application of Inactivated Lactobacillus IOB-P9 Postbiotics in Blood Sugar Reduction" (Patent No.: ZL 202210525330.7).National Intellectual Property Administrationissued the invention patent certificate.
This patent uses the Lactobacillus IOB-P9 strain independently selected by the company, conducting in-depth research on strain characteristics, fermentation processes, quantitative analysis of postbiotic components, and functional characteristics of postbiotics. It is the first time that probiotic solid-state fermentation technology has been used to preparepostbiotic powder, and based on the research results, an invention patent was applied for protection. This patent can be applied in various fields such as special medical foods, health foods, health ecological foods, intestinal microecological preparations, biomedicine, and health. Focusing on the core technology of the company, which is at the international advanced level—"Multi-strain Probiotic Solid-state Segmented Fermentation Technology," Chuangyuan Biotechnology has currently obtained 3 national invention patent authorizations and has 9 invention patents under examination.

In May 2021, the International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) released a consensus statement on postbiotics, officially marking the beginning of the postbiotic era. Postbiotics, following probiotics, have become a powerful lever to drive the health industry.
