The government work report's '14th Five-Year Plan' goals include the aspects of people's livelihood and well-being that you are most concerned about.

The government work report submitted for review at the fourth session of the 13th National People's Congress on the 5th provided an overview of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the outline of the 2035 long-term goals, which includes the following regarding the continuous improvement of people's well-being in the 14th Five-Year Plan:
- Formulate an action outline to promote common prosperity;
- Implement a priority employment strategy and expand employment capacity;
- The growth of per capita disposable income of residents is basically synchronized with the growth of GDP;
- Build a high-quality education system, implement an education quality improvement and expansion project, and increase the average years of education for the working-age population to 11.3 years;
- Comprehensively promote the construction of a healthy China, increasing the average life expectancy by another year;
- Implement a national strategy to actively respond to population aging, promote a moderate fertility level, and gradually raise the statutory retirement age;
- Improve the multi-level social security system, increasing the basic pension insurance coverage rate to 95%.
