The first Synthetic Biology Technology Food Application Exchange Conference and the Excellence Engineer Innovation Forum in Biology and Medicine were held in Tianjin, where Chuangyuan Biotechnology won the 'Technology Innovation Award'.

On September 25, 2024, the first Synthetic Biology Technology Food Application Exchange Conference and the Bio and Pharmaceutical Excellent Engineer Innovation Forum, hosted by Tianjin University of Science and Technology and co-organized by 14 institutions including the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the School of Bioengineering at Jiangnan University, opened in Tianjin.
This conference brought together top experts, scholars, industry leaders, and corporate representatives from both domestic and international backgrounds to discuss the cutting-edge developments, future trends, and talent cultivation in the field of synthetic biology technology and food applications, working together to promote original innovation in biomanufacturing and food technology, and to drive the prosperous development of the bio, food, and health industries.
In the lead-up to the conference, the organizing committee launched a nationwide call for innovative projects. After rigorous evaluations, the 'Postbiotics from Fermented Lactobacillus IOB413' produced by Tianjin Chuangyuan Biotechnology Co., Ltd. using its patented technology won the 'Technology Innovation Award' at this conference.

'Postbiotics Powder from Fermented Lactobacillus IOB413' is developed by Chuangyuan Biotechnology using the independently isolated and screened Lactobacillus IOB413 strain and a new solid-state fermentation technology to obtain inactivated bacterial cells, their lysates, metabolic products, and nutritional components from fermentation substrates, addressing the demand for 'health-beneficial functions' while overcoming the constraints of 'poor stability and short shelf life', and developing a new green manufacturing solid-state fermentation technology based on grains, legumes, and food-medicinal materials. Based on the characteristics of the strain, an in vitro simulation of a healthy intestinal fermentation environment is conducted, utilizing patented equipment and internationally advanced segmented solid-state fermentation technology to achieve deep processing and high-value industrialization of materials such as grains, legumes, and food-medicinal sources, resulting in a series of postbiotic products with probiotic-like effects.

This project continuously optimizes production processes and develops upgrades, advocating for utility first, green and natural solutions, and is based on evidence through animal testing and clinical evaluations to provide a full range of nutritional health product solutions covering all populations.
